Chedva Vojdany

Coming from sunny California, adjusting to New York’s bustling environment was a challenge for Chedva, but she now calls Brooklyn home, thanks to the Center. “I came to work here as a 19-year-old kid, and almost 8 years later, I’m so grateful to have found this community.”

Chedva recently completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and is working toward becoming an Adolescent Clinical Psychologist.  Working at our Day Camp, Chedva is inspired by the kids she meets, as each one is unique. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the kids grow up and develop into their own.

Outside the Center Day Camp, Chedva can be found baking sweet treats, playing with her dog, and just being a big kid at heart.
